Profile

Joe began his legal career in 1973 as Assistant District Attorney for Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. In 1979, he and partners Craig Miller and Scott Pollard formed the present firm where he serves as Managing Partner.

His practice concentrates on personal injury and business litigation. This includes wrongful death, breach of contract, consumer fraud and unfair business practices. Over the past 30 years, he has tried hundreds of jury trials and has argued and presented cases to the highest courts in North Carolina.

Joe is active in The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and has served on its Board of Advisors. He has also served as President of the Charlotte Basketball Committee which hosted the NCAA Final Four Basketball Tournament. He is a member of Myers Park Country Club where he has served on the Legal Advisory Committee and as Chairman of the Swim Team Committee.
